Happy Turkey day everyone!
Let's talk about diabetes and Thanksgiving for a minute. My forever family has to be strong enough to not let me have any table scraps on holidays. It could really make me very, very sick. I have to stick to my strict diet. My foster brother & sister got huge special dinners and I'm okay with that. I'm an adult and understand that not everything is always equal.
Today is the first day since I've been here that we sort of have my glucose under control! Foster mom is a little proud of herself. I'm not sure why... It's MY glucose levels. I'm not very good at eating breakfast. So we compromised. I got a large Kirkland milk bone and then my insulin. A milk bone is NOT diabetic approved food, so it was definitely a compromise, but it worked out perfectly! Hopefully I will want to eat a milk bone again tomorrow. Those are my crumbs in the picture.
I am a good stalker from my XPen. Whenever my foster brother or sister are interacting with the humans I try to watch very closely. Without being too obvious of course. That's how super smart pups learn things without getting into trouble. I do not like being in trouble!
I was a little warm earlier this week and this is the face I made when I discovered an amazing thing called a fan! WOW just WOW! It's pure heaven!
Here is my crazy road kill pose. It's the new yoga fad. That's not anything icky on the carpet. Foster mom left me a spoonful of pumpkin. I do not like pumpkin. I had to make sure she would remember...
Here are some more random pictures of my cuteness. I'm super good about going out to potty all by myself and coming right back inside directly to my XPen. It's my safe place!
