A day in the life of Stella
I really like my crates and kennels! It help make me feel really safe and secure.
I spend my day lounging on my fluffy bed in my super safe Xpen.
It's very important to know how to make my nummies! I get food twice a day along with my insulin. 1.5 level cups of my kibbles plus half a can on delicious magic.
You have to mix it all up. Chop it up good! Then put my thyroid pill on top. It's very important NOT to put water in my foods. Water should not go into foods! I do not like pudding nummies.
I eat in my Xpen. I prefer to eat on the floor, none of this raised feeder nonsense! That is for sissies.
I am super polite and wait for the door to be closed before I go gobble! I get my foods and insulin at 6pm each night.
oh nomnomnomnomnomnoms
After my dinners is done, I get my insulin injection. Foster mom actually stopped pinching and pulling my skin up at the injection site. It was too easy to get the insulin to go out the other side of my skin. Now she just sticks it in the top of my neck and goes. Even easier!
After my insulin injection, we go outside. Foster mom is usually pretty slow. My foster siblings are still eating outside, but I don't bother them at all. I would never steal food from someone else! That is impolite!
Hey lady! I am ready to come back inside to digest!
Then I do my cute impression in my Xpen while my full belly digests.
Next we have a last out and then I go into my crate at night. I have a hard time remembering to hold my pee overnight in the Xpen. I'm more used to overnighting in a crate. No accidents there!
Noodle is still very jealous over my flying sheep toy! He always has to check my crate out to make sure it's safe for the night.
Once he leaves, I get in riteaway quick! You never know who will go take over your crate here! Even the cats like them!
After night time sleeps, I have my first outs and get my breakfast & insulin at 7am.
Then I go back to my Xpen and spend more time digesting my morning full belly!
Foster mom thinks that once I get into my new home, I will want to be in my kennels and crates less and less. Even now I'm less nervous, but I really like my routine and safeness. I feel smart knowing what to do and when to do it!
